Join us for a magical morning of flowers, creativity, and nature-inspired play.
In this workshop, we will work with a selection of summer flowers to create our own flower potions, lotions, and botanical treasures to take home.
Together, we will explore the flowers we are working with, learning how to identify them, where they grow, and some of the fascinating stories and folklore connected to them. We will discover their colours, scents, textures, and the many ways people have used plants throughout history.
Over a refreshing flower-infused drink and seasonal snack, children will be guided step by step as they mix, stir, and create their own floral potions and lotions using natural ingredients. There will be plenty of opportunities for imaginative play, creativity, and hands-on exploration.
This workshop is designed to nurture curiosity, encourage creativity, and help children develop a deeper connection with plants and the natural world, while having fun and making new friends along the way.
A flower-infused drink and a delicious seasonal treat will be provided.
Where: King John's Nursery, Etchingham, East Sussex, TN19 7AZ
When: Wednesday 5th August, 10am–12pm
